The Acacia Strain is back with a new album, Slow Decay (Rise Records), are as pissed as ever despite their last LP being released (checks notes) just last Winter? If memory serves, It Comes in Waves dropped rather surprisingly at the end of December. Okay then, on to Slow Decay. Hold up, most of these songs have already been released in the form of singles throughout the year.
As if they totally haven’t owned the year in extreme metal, The Acacia Strain has released another incredible 7-Inch and Digital single! Y is out now via Rise Records and can be purchased and streamed. It features two songs: “One Thousand Painful Stings,” featuring Spiritbox singer Courtney LaPlante, and “EARTH WILL BECOME DEATH.” The band also announced their brand new full-length album Slow Decay, will arrive on July 24 via Rise Records. It will include all the songs in the seven inch and digital single drops that were released between February 28 and June 12, as well as two previously unreleased tracks.
