Sleep Token Has Signed with RCA Records


Sleep Token strikes again! RCA Records has announced they have signed a new record deal with the band. In signing with a major label, the band for their part have teased a “new era” of the band, presumably about their 2024 planned year of tour dates and festivals and their expected next album, their fourth. RCA Records is home to some of the biggest bands in the world such as Foo Fighters, Three Days Grace, The Strokes, and more. As we previously reported they have booked even more tour dates aka “rituals” in the UK later this year on top of their upcoming Australia tour, and US dates surrounding Sick New World Festival, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and more. Sleep Token Announces “The Teeth Of God” Headline Tour with Empire State Bastard


Right after causing fan meltdowns all over the world, Sleep Token has announced a new headline tour of North America, next spring. “The Teeth Of God” tour will last for 1 month, surround their sold-out show at the historic Red Rocks venue in Colorado and Sick New World Festival, and feature direct support from Hardcore/Thrash supergroup Empire State Bastard (supergroup consisting of: Dave Lombardo, Simon Neil, Mike Vennart, and Naomi Macleod). Sleep Token Wipes Their Instagram After Fans Overreach on The Band’s Privacy


Sleep Token is the latest band to wipe their social media accounts. Their Instagram page has been wiped clean, although their other socials are active for now. Speculation by fans comes from a band members’ birth certificate being leaked online, a clear overstep by fans of the notoriously enigmatic band that prizes its annonnimity. The band’s bio on the now blank Instagram page mysteriously read “Nothing lasts forever.” This of course has led some to panic that it may mean the end of the band. On the other hand, the band is due to announce further 2024 tour dates this month, after selling out their headline show at Red Rocks. They may well be making the leap to an arena tour soon. After many years of covering Riot Fest at Ghost Cult, your intrepid chief of editor got to experience it for himself. The lineup was too good to be true, even the competition from the many Punk and Metal festivals all happening around the same time in the USA. Having personally covered one other festival in Chicago in the past, (RIP Chicago Open Air), I was excited to spend some time here.
