SIXX:A.M has shared a new single and charity initiative: SIXX:A.M Presents: Artists For Recovery, release “Maybe It’s Time” (feat. Corey Taylor, Joe Elliott, Brantley Gilbert, Ivan Moody, Slash, AWOLNATION, Tommy Vext). The song is the cornerstone of an industry-wide initiative to draw attention to the opioid crisis and raise funds to serve the recovery community and save lives. Timed to launch National Recovery Month in September, this campaign leverages all manners of entertainment to send an important message of hope for recovery, starting on International Overdose Awareness Day 8/31 and continuing through International Recovery Day 9/30. Five Finger Death Punch has soldiered through their current co-headline tour with Shinedown while singer Ivan Moody has suffered with personal problems stemming from alcohol abuse. The four bands have partnered to donate $1 from each ticket sold on the tour to four hand-picked charitable organizations close to their hearts: Five Finger Death Punch chose the Badge of Honor Memorial Foundation, Shinedown selected MusiCares, Sixx:A.M. will support Jada Pinkett Smith’s Anti-Human Trafficking organization Don’t Sell Bodies, and As Lions will donate to Make A Wish America. In addition to the $1 donation per ticket, the bands have teamed up with Crowdrise to give fans the option to enter for the chance to win VIP tickets plus a Meet & Greet by choosing to donate an additional $5 at the time of ticket purchase. Also, fans who don’t live in one of the cities on the tour, but would still like to support the efforts, can visit Crowdrise to donate $5 and be entered for a chance to win a flyaway to the show of their choice plus a Meet & Greet with all four bands.

Japanese dark rock outfit VAMPS,featuring Hyde (L’Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust), will release a new studio album Bloodsuckers via Spinefarm Records on March 24, 2015.
This 13 track release-produced by VAMPS and Josh Wilbur (whose previous credits include Gojira and Lamb of God) and housed in the artwork of mysterious Japanese artist Rockin’ Jelly Bean-is the follow-up to Sex Blood Rock N’ Roll, released in 2013.
Songs on Bloodsuckers include “World’s End,” a UK single in 2014, and used in the Sony campaign for the Xperia UK mobile), “Get Away,” “Replay,” “The Jolly Roger,” and “Vampire’s Love,” which is not just a Top 3 single in Japan but also the song selected to launch Hollywood blockbuster, Dracula Untold, in that market.

In addition, “Replay” was the theme song of Dark Labyrinth, one in a series of a world-famous smartphone apps from Dark Summoner; the app has been downloaded over six million times. “The Jolly Roger” features in the TV commercial for Nissan’s X-Trail SUV. It’s no surprise then that the album has already been a Top 5 success in Japan.
Most recently, they completed a run of dates in Japan (33 shows to 65,000 people), climaxing with a worldwide webcast of their Zepp Tokyo show on January 25.
