EYE AM Shares Their New Single and Music Video for “Dreams Always Die With The Sun”

Psychedelic Doom Metal supergroup EYE AM just released their highly anticipated debut single, “Dreams Always Die With The Sun,” out today June 2 on Corpse Paint Records a new Punk/Alt/Metal Record Company based out of Southwest Florida. The band features Crowbar vocalist/guitarist Kirk Windstein, Type-O Negative guitarist/vocalist Kenny Hickey, and drummer/vocalist Johnny Kelly, as well as former Crowbar bassist Todd Strange. Along with the release of the single, streaming on all DSPs, the music video for “Dreams Always Die With The Sun,” is out now!

Supergroup EYE AM (Type O Negative, Crowbar, Down) Are Recording Their Debut Single

A brand new supergroup has formed with legends of Doom Metal including members of Type of Negative, Crowbar, and Down dubbed EYE AM. The news was revealed in a post from Florida metal label Corpsepaint Records! The band consists of Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly of Type O Negative and Silvertomb on guitar and drums, Kirk Windstein of Crowbar, Down, and Kingdom of Sorrow, and Todd Strange, formerly of Crowbar and Down. The debut single will be recorded by bassist Roger Lima of Less Than Jake.

Brume, Geezer, Mother Iron Horse, Howling Giant, Green Druid and Greenbeard Are All Booked for Desertfest NYC

Desert Fest NYC – the US version of the classic European stoner doom festival has added their final bands and set their daily lineups. Brume, Geezer, Mother Iron Horse, Howling Giant, Green Druid, and Greenbeard are all added to the bill while Fatso Jetson has dropped off the bill. You can also see the daily lineups on the poster below. 4-day passes are sold out but 3-day and single-day passes are on sale now. Psycho Las Vegas Loses Some Bands Due to Visa and Pandemic Issues

In a story we have been following, Psycho Las Vegas has announced that bands such as Mayhen and Satyricon have dropped off the upcoming metal festival later this month. This is due to ongoing travel/work visa and pandemic related issues. To their credit, the fest has been dealing complaints and addressing on social media, and in emaisl to ticket holders. Other bands still hoping to gain entry into the USA to perform include Efforts are continuing for Emperor, Watain, Crippled Black Phoenix, Cult of Fire, and Psychlona, and we’ll keep tracking this story. Psycho Las Vegas has shared the bad news that they have canceled the 2020 festival that was set for August due to ot the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Psycho Las Vegas 2021 has been scheduled to August 19-22, 2021. “Nearly all the bands” have agreed to return for the 2021st dates. One of the most anticipated albums of 2019, Silvertomb is made up of some pretty famous alumni of pretty legendary bands. Flying behind the sails of creativity from the talents of Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly of Type O Negative fame, the pair have played together since their were teens, and in other bands as well. Silvertomb has announced they have signed an international record deal with German independent label Long Branch Records / SPV. The band self-released their debut single ‘Insomnia’ and have been working on new music for quite some time. Silvertomb is the next band from Type O Negative and Seventh Void, members Kenny Hickey (Type O Negative, Seventh Void), Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Danzig) and Hank Hell (Seventh Void, Inhuman).
