Budderside Shares New Music Video for “Wide Awake”



Rockers Budderside has shared a new video for their single “Wide Awake.” The track comes from their upcoming new album, Spiritual Violence, due out March 26, 2021 Via Motörhead Music/Silver Lining Music. Filmed at the abandoned Old L.A. Zoo – the video is a great set piece for the anthemic track. The album features appearances from Phil Campbell of Motorhead and Carla Harvey of Butcher Babies, among others.

Motörhead Shares New Single “Over the Top” – New Live Album Due This Spring


Motörhead will release a new live album this spring, Louder Than Noise… Live in Berlin, due out via Silver Lining Music on April 23rd, 2021 on CD with bonus DVD, double vinyl, and via streaming platforms. Recorded December 5th, 2012, at the Berlin Velodrom, Motörhead played one of their biggest-ever German gigs to 12,000 fans during the Kings of The Road Tour. ALBUM REVIEW: Mike Lepond’s Silent Assassins – Whore of Babylon


Looking past the rather gaudy artwork, the third album from Mike Lepond’s Silent Assassins sees the group continuing to thrive on an over the top presentation. As with previous albums, Lepond’s bass playing leads the charge with intense flurries accompanied by surging power metal rhythms and Alan Tecchio’s flamboyant wails detailing history and legend. However, Whore of Babylon sets itself as the group’s most eclectic effort so far.

Apocalyptica Signs with Silver Lining Music, New Album in 2020


Metal legends Apocalyptica has signed a new deal with Silver Lining Music for a new album due in 2020. The band’s new all-instrumental album was recorded over a three-month period at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki and was mixed by Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey, Metallica, Black Sabbath). An early 2020 release is expected. The album will be an all-instrumental album with no guests, like their earliest material. Continue reading
