Ozzy Osbourne Casts Doubt On Future Live Performances, But Looks Forward to Making New Music

In a new interview with Rolling Stone promoting his guest appearance on a new single by Billy Morrison, Ozzy Osbourne cast doubt on his ability to perform live ever again. Saying right now “he can’t stand up.” As we have previously reported that his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne has been vocal about trying to plan two farewell shows in his hometown, near Birmingham, England. Ozzy, who has had a busy year already, also talked about his recent nomination to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as well as plans to make new album with the fact that such a nomination often comes with a live performance.Continue reading

Howard Stern launched SiriusXM’s new Miami Studios this week. On Wednesday during SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show live from Miami, Howard Stern was joined by Carrie Underwood. Carrie Underwood performing three songs live on the air including a cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mama, I’m Coming Home.” Making her debut on The Howard Stern Show, the singer talked about her life and career, including the success of her first album, “Some Hearts,” which garnered her three Grammy Awards in 2007 and the distinction of having the best-selling debut of any “American Idol” contestant. The avowed hard rock fan who previously sang with Axl Rose, said she asked permission form Sharon Osbourne to do the cover and Sharon was sweet about it. Watch it now!

Ozzy Osbourne Cancels Download Japan, Australia and New Zealand Headline Appearances


Although he is home from the hospital and recovering from the flu and an upper respiratory infection, Ozzy Osbourne has canceled his scheduled headline appearances in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, including Download Japan and Download Australia next month. According to his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne “Ozzy recently developed pneumonia and has spent some time in the hospital. Thankfully he is now through the worst part. His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for a full six weeks with no travel.” A statement by Download Japan fest reveals that Ozzy is still too unwell to travel and tour as planned. The fest is working to find a replacement act, which already has Slayer, Sun 41, Anthrax, Arch Enemy, Halestorm, Man With A mission and more, so they will not be offering refunds. Ozzy’s next scheduled tour date is the start of his USA summer tour with Megadeth, at Rocklahoma this May. Continue reading
