ALBUM REVIEW: Signs Of The Swarm – Amongst The Low And Empty


 

There is no way the album title is meant to foreshadow what’s on the coming horizon. However, Amongst The Low And Empty (Century Media Records) accurately describes Signs Of The Swarm’s newest release. Lacking in ingenuity or inspiration, the deathcore purveyors recycle a small handful of techniques – over-exaggerated marble mouth, sparsely timed drum hits – to muster a record that has value as something intense and heavy, but decidedly not something ground-breaking by any means.

Deftones Share a Remix of “Ceremony” by WHOKILLEDXIX


Deftones have teamed up with Trap-Punk genre mashers WHOKILLEDXIX for a remix of their recent single “Ceremony’ from their acclaimed album Ohms. (Reprise Records). Check out the video for the track, directed by Leigh Whannell, writer of Saw and director of Upgrade, and the 2020 blockbuster The Invisible Man. The band is gearing up for their headline tour of the USA. and stream it on all DSPs. The band also released a video for the track as well. Ohms was the Ghost Cult Album of the Year in 2020. Deftones New Video Video for “Ceremony” by “The Invisible Man” Director Leigh Whannell


Deftones have launched a new cinematic noir-style video for their latest single “Ceremony” directed by Leigh Whannell, writer of Saw and director of Upgrade, and the 2020 blockbuster The Invisible Man. The band is gearing up for their headline tour of the USA.
