Sabaton has shared a new two-song digital single which features their highly sought after cover of Manowar’s “Kingdom Come’ and “Metal Trilogy,” a medley of the band’s “Metal Ripper,” “Metal Crue,” and “Metal Machine.” This is now available digitally on all streaming platforms, and the song can be heard at the link below. Long-running World-History obsessed Power Metallers from Sweden, Sabaton have announced additional tour dates that will keep them on the road until mid- 2022, at least. The band will headline some festivals in Euorpe, then provide direct support to Judas Priest on their 50 Years of Heavy Metal North American tour, as well as headline dates next year as well. Sabaton will lead the bill at two major European festivals: July 9 at Exitfest, held at the Petrovaradin Fortress, Serbia, and the Czech Republic’s Rock Castle on August 20. The Spring of 2022 will see Sabaton bring its live shows to 26 cities in 17 European countries – “The Tour To End All Tours.” The band continues to support their last full-length album, 2019’s The Great War, out now via Nuclear Blast Records, as well as some more recent singles and special content. Quickly shaping up to be the biggest music festival in the USA this year, Blue Ridge Rock festival has announced their full line-up of 180 bands. Headlining the massive 4 day festival are Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, and Limp Bizkit. There is a special club warm up show which includes headliner Ludacris, T-Pain, and Lil Jon. Also on tap: the Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow Revue, a vaudeville freak show of wonder by Hellzapoppin’s Ringleader and Producer, Mr. Bryce “The Govna” Graves. In addition, excitingly, the festival will be hosted by Steve-O (MTV’s Jackass); and special guest Lou Brutus (SiriusXM). The fest takes place September 9th – 12th at Blue Ridge Amphitheater, a long-awaited large-scale concert venue in Southwest Virginia. Heavy Metal legends Judas Priest, will finally celebrate their 50th anniversary this year with the launch of a North American tour this fall. The 50 Heavy Metal Years Tour will also feature Sabaton as openers and is being fueled by the highest-charting album of Priest’s career, ‘Firepower,’ which peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200. Tickets go on sale starting Friday, June 11 at 10 am local time at the link below. Produced by Live Nation, the North American tour – which will run throughout September (kicking off on September 8th in Reading, PA) and November (concluding on November 5th in Hamilton, Ontario), will feature a variety of special effects, and a new stage show for the iconic live act.

Rebel Rock Fest Presented By Monster Energy is the news festival added to the fall concert season. The fest has added Friday night headline artist Machine Gun Kelly, and Saturday act Legendary Wu, featuring Wu-Tang Clan members Ghostface Killah, Raekwon The Chef, and Killah Priest. They join a stacked lineup that already includes Judas Priest on their 50 Years of heavy Metal Tour, Limp Bizkit, Trivium, Sabaton, Sevendust, Fuel, I Prevail, Skillet, Wage War, All That Remains, Anti-Flag, Cold, Attila, Diamante, Them Evils, Cherry Bombs, Saul and more! Judas Priest is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year with a world tour coming to the US in the fall. The 50 Heavy Metal Years Tour will also feature Sabaton as openers and is being fueled by the highest-charting album of Priest’s career ‘Firepower’ which peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200. Judas Priest originally formed in 1970 in Birmingham, England (an area that many feel birthed heavy metal). The original nucleus of musicians – Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, KK Downing and Ian Hill (along with several different drummers over the years) would go on to change the face of heavy metal. The band has made some of the greatest albums in music history. Judas Priest’s lineup also includes Scott Travis on drums, and Richie Faulkner on lead guitar. Andy Sneap has been touring with the band on rhythm and lead guitar since 2018. In 2017 (and again in 2019) Their latest studio album Firepower (produced by Sneap and Tom Allom) which received global success and critical acclaim and released via Epic Records in 2018.
