Graves, Release Your Dead (Svart Records) is the latest album from Finland’s vampire-admiring (maybe “obsessed” is the word) The Coffinshakers. According to the band’s online blurb, they’ve been making horror comedy since 1995. Now if that feels like rather a long time to be riding this fairly simple gimmick, well it’s just a fleeting moment for a night walker, eh?

Deepak Raghu is an extremely diverse, creative entity. Queen, Greta Van Fleet, The Pretty Reckless And More Featured On Aquaman Soundtrack


As expected Aquaman opened the Christmas holiday season at the movies with a smash hit weekend, bringing in 72.1 million dollars in the USA and an early total of 332 million worldwide so far. The movie rules (no spoilers) and might be the best DCEU film so far in terms of a cohesive story, action, and fun. Part of the charm of the film is also the soundtrack, which has a solid amount of rock music on the soundtrack. Queen, Greta Van Fleet (heard in the movie, not on the soundtrack) The Pretty Reckless, Sigur Ros, Roy Orbison, Depeche Mode and more are featured, along with pop music and the orchestral score Rupert Gregson-Williams. Tom Petty, American Rock Icon, Dead At Age 66


Tom Petty, part of the fabric of American Rock Music for over forty years died last night at age 66 of a massive heart attack, leaving fans, friends, and family devastated by the sudden news. Petty had just wrapped up his 40th Anniversary tour with his band The Heartbreakers, last week at The Hollywood Bowl, which would fittingly be his final performance ever. Continue reading
