Machine Head teased performed all therre of their new songs from ther current digital single during their regular Friday afternoon Livestream “Electric Happy Hour” this week. They performed “Arrows In Words from The Sky,” “Become the Firestorm,” and “Rotten” among a setlist that included major hits and some deep cuts too. “Arrows In Words from The Sky” is the latest in a series of singles the band has been releasing for the last few years, and they will end up on a future full length album in 2022, confirmed by Robb Flynn here. Robb Flynn of Machine Head Details Death Threats Against his Family, and Other Harassment


 

Robb Flynn posts often to his newsletter “The General’s Journals” and they are personal notes from his life in Machine Head, politics, and other things. No stranger to wading into political waters, Flynn has been posting lately during the turmoil in the nation. Apparently, he has been getting death threats towards himself and his family, and other online harassment over email and his DM’s on social. He detailed this extensively in a new note to fans, with especially virulent comments about harming his wife and kids. Robb is one of the best, and smartest leaders in the metal world and this kind of harassment is unacceptable in our scene, and this shit needs to stop right now.

Dino Cazares Says “Fear Factory is Alive and Well”, Appears on Robb Flynn’s Podcast


Dino Cazares has responded to the news of Burton C. Bell quitting Fear Factory in a series of Tweets and an appearance on Robb Flynn’s (Machine Head) podcast, No Fkn Regrets Podcast for an exclusive. Dino reports that “FF is alive and well”, the record with Bell is still coming out, and he is presently looking for a new singer. On the Flynn podcast, Dino confirmed he found out Burton quit from social media, that the door is open for Burton to return – to a point, tentatively the release of the new Fear Factory album is March 2021 via Nuclear Blast, the album is being mixed now by Andy Sneap, a deep details about the legal issues of the last few years, (reconfirming things he recently told Metalsucks), his personal history getting started in bands, and key points in Fear Factory History. Despite the ugliness, it sounds like Dino is gonna be alright. The band celebrated the 25th anniversary of their classic second album, Demanufacture (Roadrunner) this year. We’ll keep following this story as it develops.
