Robb Flynn Has Written Seven New Machine Head Songs, Including One with Logan Mader


In a new social media post listing off 2019’s “little accomplishments” for 2019 in a year-end social media post, Robb Flynn revealed that he has seven new songs written for a future series of standalone singles by Machine Head. In addition in a recent episode of Flynn’s “No Fuckign Regrets Podcast with Robb Flynn,” he revealed one of the new songs was written with Logan Mader, the first by the two since the sessions for The More Things Change (Roadrunner) in 1996. Mader and Flynn have reunited with Chris Kontos for the Burn My Eyes 25 World Tour. Flynn has also recorded a solo album of covers that will release under the moniker of Robb Flynn & Friends. Machine Head’s recent single ‘Do Or Die’ was a controversial diss track that has been interpreted as a dig at detractors from the bands’ last album Catharsis (Nuclear Blast). Continue reading

Machine Head’s Robb Flynn participated in the annual Stars To The Rescue XXVIII on January 26 at Lesher Center For The Arts in Walnut Creek, California. Headlining Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation, and appearing as “Robb Flyyn and Friends” he was joined by metal luminaries Craig Locicero (Dress The Dead, Forbidden) on Guitar, Andy Galeon (Death Angel) on Drums, Harald O. (D.R.I.) on Bass, and Kayla Dixon (Dress The Dead, Witch Mountain) on vocals, and others. Continue reading


Robb Flynn And Friends Animal Charity Show This Weekend/Lineup Revealed


As we reported recently, Robb Flynn of Machine Head is supporting Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (A.R.F.) Stars To The Rescue XXVIII, charity benefit show this Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Lesher Center for the Arts, in Walnut Creek, California. LaRussa is the legendary Major League Baseball coach of the Oakland A’s and the St. Louis Cardinals. Robb has been a long-time supporter of the Animal Rescue Foundation (he got his dog Shady from there), proceeds from Stars to the Rescue allow ARF to save dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters and bring people and animals together to enrich each other’s lives. A limited amount of seats are available to Machine Head fans, with details below.
