Aftershock Festival Adds the Original Misfits As the New Saturday Night Headliner


 

Aftershock, a festival part of the Danny Wimmer Presents family of events, has announced that The Original Misfits will be the new Saturday Night Headliner, following the departure of My Chemical Romance from the fest due to the pandemic. The original Misfits had booked a slew of arena shows and festival slots in North America from 2018 to 2020. Aftershock also features Metallica as the headliner the other two nights of the fest. Tickets are on sale now. Recent additions to the festival bill now are Limp Bizkit, Rancid, The Offspring, Social Distortion, Rise Against, Volbeat, Machine Gun Kelly, Mastodon, Gojira, SEETHER, Parkway Drive, and many more. A special first time ever Thursday night date, presented by Jack Daniels, is headlined by Limp Bizkit and also hosts Parkway Drive, Testament, Hatebreed, Exodus, Knocked Loose and Fit For a King. Rise Against Shares Reimagined Orchestral Version of “Nowhere Generation”



Rise Against has shared a new version of its smash hit single, “Nowhere Generation!” Now reimagined with an orchestral version of the track, it is available for streaming on all DSPs at the links below. Danny Wimmer Presents Announces Schedule for Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, Welcome To Rockville, and Aftershock

The leading independent live entertainment producer and promoter Danny Wimmer Presents has announced the upcoming festival calendar for the year. The event lineup includes the return of fan favorites Louder Than Life and Welcome To Rockville, alongside the previously announced Aftershock, and new to the DWP family, Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. Louder Than Life, the largest rock festival in America, will take place September 23-26, 2021 at Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky and will be adding a Thursday night celebration event to kick off the weekend. All current pass holders will receive admission to the newly added Thursday night kickoff celebration for free.

Liquid Death Drops “Greatest Hates Volume II” with Punk Rock Legends


The refreshing water and sparkling water in 100% recyclable cans, Liquid Death Mountain Spring Water, has throngs of fans, is wildely successful, but also has crazy haters on social media has dropped their second album in 2020! The band has dropped Greatest Hates Volume II across all digital and streaming services. The album will also be released on vinyl at a later date (fun fact: the first Greatest Hates vinyl sold out quickly — one is now even being resold for $220). Volume I featured Death Metal music, but Volume II Produced and mastered by punk musicians and industry veterans, the 14-track album is made up entirely of real hate comments from Liquid Death’s social media and online reviews. Misfits Book Los Angeles Arena Show This June with Rise Against, The Distillers, Anti-Nowhere League, and Cro-Mags


With their Chicago arena show coming up soon, Misfits have announced a very special 2019 U.S. date that will take place Saturday, June 29 at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Featuring the lineup of original singer/songwriter Glenn Danzig and original bassist Jerry Only the band will be joined by Rise Against, The Distillers, Anti-Nowhere League, and Cro-Mags as special guests.
