Japan’s Loud Park Festival 2023 Announces Pantera as Their Headliner


The new lineup of Pantera (Philip Anselmo, Rex Brown, Zakk Wylde, and Charlie Benante) has been booked as the headliner of the 2023 “comeback” edition of Japan’s Loud Park festival. The two-day “limited” event will take place on March 25 at Intex Osaka in Osaka and March 26 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City near Tokyo.

Volumes Shares a Cover of Pantera’s “Rise” in Tribute to Dimebag Darrell


 

Metalcore band Volumes has shared a new single and visualizer for their cover of Pantera’s – “Rise!” You can stream the track on all DSPs, and watch the video below. The cover pays tribute to guitarist Dimebag Darrell who was murdered on this day (December 8th) 2004. “Rise” comes off of Pantera’s second mainstream album Vulgar Display of Power, released in 1992 via East-West, Atco Records.

Pantera Teams Up with Texas Ale Project Beer Collaboration – “Pantera Golden Ale”


In a post to social media, Pantera has announced they have teamed up with Dallas Fort-Worth Dallas craft brewery Texas Ale Project for Pantera Golden Ale, 5.4% ABV, the first Pantera spirits collab, which will be available March 2021.

Pantera Releases Official “Cowboys From Hell” 30th Anniversary Screenprint Poster

Pantera’s “Cowboys From Hell” album turns 30 this week and they are celebrating their record release event with a collectible poster! Iconic By Collectionzz has released a new official screenprint celebrating their show at The Basement in Dallas, the unofficial home base club in the early days of Pantera, which shot three music videos in one day there: “Psycho Holiday”, “Cemetery Gates” and “Cowboys From Hell”. Three days before the release of “Cowboys From Hell”, Pantera played a record release party for everyone at The Basement, for which guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott created the original flyer. Iconic By Collectionzz is remembering that event 30 years later with a new limited-edition poster by Vance Kelly which incorporates many of the original design elements Dimebag created in the flyer, such as the barbed wire and dripping-blood Pantera logo.Order at the link below. Pantera Crosses The One Billion Streaming Mark


Pantera has shared a post to social media thanking fans for the band reaching 1 Billion streams across platforms such as (in alphabetical order) Amazon, Apple, Deezer, Google, and Spotify. The band joins notable recent bands such as Metallica, Guns N Roses, and Nirvana with over one billion streams. Pantera was founded in 1981 and released nine studio albums total and a live album (not counting compilations and boxed sets), coming to prominence with their fifth and major-label debut, Cowboys From Hell.
