Slayer Pulled as Primary Sponsor of Rick Ware Racing’s Entry No. 54 After One Week

Just one week after being named the primary sponsor for Rick Ware Racing’s Entry No. 54 at this Weekend’s Bristol Motor Speedway race, Slayer has been totally pulled from the team. All traces of Slayer’s branding has been removed from the car and the bands’ involvement is over. All Slayer signage has been removed from the car that was to be piloted by Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series veteran, JJ Yeley. The incontrovertible PODS Moving & Storage will now sponsor that car. Concerns from the other sponsors of Rick Ware Racing seem to be the rationale. Thirty-five years into their career, Slayer is still a scary band. Continue reading →


Slayer Joins Rick Ware Racing as Their Primary Sponsor

Slayer has teamed up with Rick Ware Racing as the Primary Sponsor at Bristol Motor Speedway promoting the bands Final World Tour. Piloting the Slayer Chevrolet is Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series veteran, JJ Yeley. Slayer just wrapped their summer farewell tour of Europe and are setting out on “The Final Campaign, The Last Leg”, which takes place across America in major US cities from November 2 – 30, 2019.
