Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline the 2020 edition of Boston Calling Festival. The two legendary rock acts will join a bill of over sixty performers, including an additional headliner, all of which will be shared when the entire lineup is announced in January of next year. Foo Fighters will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2020. Meanwhile, Rock And Roll Hall Of Famers RHCP is currently working on a new album. The annual three-day festival, will take place at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, Massachusetts next Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-24, 2020. Mr. Bungle Released Their Final Album, “California”, 20 Years Ago

On this day twenty years ago the final studio album from the wild and weirdly cool, insanely talented Mr. Bungle, California (Warner Bros), was released. At the time it seemed like the band best known as the side project of Mike Patton had long legs as if they would go on to make many more albums afterward. Sadly, it was not meant to be. Flea To Release His Memoirs This Fall

International teen sensations BABYMETAL have been tapped as the opening act to the Red Hot Chili Peppers on their Upcoming winter tour of the UK, their first in five years. BABYMETAL’s hybrid of J-pop and heavy metal has been a hit with crowds the world over, especially following their sophomore album Metal Resistance (Sony/RAL) released this past April. The début landed atop Billboard’s “World Albums” chart and iTunes’ “Top Heavy Metal Albums” chart, while simultaneously entering at #2 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart, #17 on Billboard’s “Top Album Sales” chart and #39 on the overall Billboard 200.
