Last week an anonymous Twitter account @IWas17HeWas36 was launched by a person accusing Tool/A Perfect Circle/Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan of raping them at A Perfect Circle/Nine Inch Nails concert in 2000. Although this account of events is anonymous, any accusation of this nature always must be considered with great care and respect until proven otherwise, just based on the overwhelming evidence of under-reporting of rape and abuse. We have a responsibility to create safe spaces for the most vulnerable people among us, not just in our music scene, but worldwide.
