A four-piece band of indeterminate origin (their home town is listed merely as “The Home of Kings”), Warkings are an international – presumably European based – supergroup who like nothing more than to cosplay while singing about such diverse subject matter as fighting, marching, combat, battles, warfare, and conflict.
Sometimes a title is all you need. And, as it unleashes a victorious scream of power metal majesty heard three townships away, Metal Commando (Nuclear Blast Records), the latest album from Primal Fear, is absolutely one of those titles. Continue reading
German industrial metallers Rammstein have announced the rescheduled dates for their North American stadium tour. The original trek was slated to take place this summer, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe.
Rammstein has revealed that they are using the time off from touring during the pandemic to write new music. The news of possible new material from the German industrial metallers was broken by the band’s drummer, Christoph Schneider, during an appearance Saturday (June 13) on the “Rodeo Radio” podcast, which airs on Germany’s Radio Bob! Last month, Rammstein postponed its 2020 North American stadium tour which was due to kick off on August 20 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and conclude on September 27 in Mexico City, Mexico. The band also announced the rescheduled dates for its European stadium tour. The trek was originally slated to take place this summer but was postponed due to coronavirus pandemic restrictions. The new Rammstein European shows will take place in May, June, July and August 2021, with all tickets purchased for the original concerts valid for the new dates.
More sad news as another highly anticipated tour bites the dust due to coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Rammstein has officially postponed its 2020 North American tour. They are working on scheduling the new dates now. See their message below. Continue reading
Stopping short of outright postponing their tour, Rammstein has asked fans to be patient while they figure out if any of their highly-anticipated 2020 tour will happen, based on the mass of cancelations and postponements due to coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The band booked a world tour, including a mostly sold-out North American tour, their first since 2017. The band likely doesn’t want to announce a postponement until they have the full tour rebooked. It’s been four years since the German Extreme Metal act, Heaven Shall Burn, released their last album. After Wanderer (Century Media Records) came out, these hard-hitting fellas took a very justified break. Now with batteries recharged, they’re back with an adventurous new release. The band gifted us with the double album, Of Truth and Sacrifice (Century Media Records) earlier this month and it’s making quite the impression. Known for their aggressive sound and topical lyrics, this ninth full-length release is taking these extreme characteristics to a new level. The band has been around for nearly twenty-five years and they are still taking their massive sound to some exciting, uncharted territories. Continue reading
