Rammstein has teased North American Tour dates in a post to social media. In a post to Facebook, the band shared a post with the text “Get Ready Amerika!” with a map and a few strategically highlighted areas such as California, Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Maryland, and perhaps Toronto and Montreal. The last tour Rammstein did in the USA was in 2017 and was only a handful of dates. It seems likely this will be the case again, and perhaps include some of the spring/summer rock and metal music festivals, since the bands bombastic, firey show is a natural for a headline slot. Hopefully, a full tour routing and on-sale is imminent. Rammstein released their self-titled and possibly final album last summer via Universal Records.

Rammstein released their new self-titled album this past May 17th The album released via UME/Spinefarm in Europe and Caroline Records in the U.S. The lead track of the album (and third single) ‘Auslander’ made an impression with its surprising and smart video for their song video. Rammstein has always challenged cultural and political mores in society as a rule with their music and videos, and ‘Auslander’. In the guise of a parody of colonialism, the video is a warning that colonialism and racism are as alive today as they ever have been. Watch this behind the scenes video for the making of ‘Auslander’ now. Continue reading
