Parkway Drive Books 2022 European Arena Tour with While She Sleeps


Parkway Drive have announced their return to Europe and the UK in 2022 for a full headlining arena tour. The dates run from September and October 2022 and will kick off on September 9th at Quarterback Immobilien Arena in Leipzig and conclude at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff. Direct support will come from Sheffield metalcore band While She Sleeps. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, November 12, 11am CET at the link below. Please note that all previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the newly scheduled shows, apart from the London show. Due to the venue change the tickets for this show cannot be carried over.

Aftershock Festival Adds the Original Misfits As the New Saturday Night Headliner


 

Aftershock, a festival part of the Danny Wimmer Presents family of events, has announced that The Original Misfits will be the new Saturday Night Headliner, following the departure of My Chemical Romance from the fest due to the pandemic. The original Misfits had booked a slew of arena shows and festival slots in North America from 2018 to 2020. Aftershock also features Metallica as the headliner the other two nights of the fest. ALBUM REVIEW: Architects – For Those That Wish To Exist


Please indulge me for one moment. I am not usually one for breaking the fourth wall when reviewing an album but bear with…. Back in 2004, I had a polar response to two albums in a way that encapsulates a particular dichotomy that fans (and bands) often find themselves caught up in that has stuck with me as a point of reflection ever since. To change, or not to change, that is the question… I remember the unshakeable feeling of disappointment at just how much Slipknot had changed their sound and attack on Vol III: The Subliminal Verses compared to Iowa (both Roadrunner), and the same deep sigh of discontent that Soil hadn’t changed enough (or at all, with Redefine, J Records).Continue reading

Parkway Drive Announce Rescheduled 2021 Tour Dates with Hatebreed


Parkway Drive have just announced the new dates for their ‘Viva The Underdogs – European Revolution 2021’ Arena Tour. The tour, which was originally supposed to start in April 2020 and then moved to November 2020, has been further postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The new shows will take place in March and April 2021, with all original tickets honoured for the rescheduled dates. Joining them on tour will be special guests Hatebreed and Crystal Lake.
