The festivities kick off with the Rocklahoma campgrounds opening on Sunday, August 27 and music performances get underway at the official Rocklahoma pre-party on Thursday, August 31. Full weekend passes are on sale now, with single-day tickets available this spring.

Danny Wimmer Presents Inkcarceration Festival 2023 has announced its full lineup of bands and tattoo artists. Headliners include Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Pantera, Volbeat, Lamb of God, Bush, Megadeth, and Flyleaf with Lacey Sturm, along with 10 Years, In This Moment, Underoath, Hatebreed, P.O.D, The Ghost Inside, Wage War, Coal Chamber, and many more. The festival will be on July 14, 15, and 16 at the infamous Ohio State Reformatory (the site of the film The Shawshank Redemption) in Mansfield, Ohio. CONCERT REVIEW: Jinjer – P.O.D. – Vended – Space of Variations Live at Saint Andrew’s Hall


 

Saint Andrew’s Hall is one of the most treasured music venues in Detroit. It once was home to The St. Andrew’s Society which has been around since 1849. Like most of the buildings in Motor City’s downtown, there is a rich and interesting history that goes along with it. These repurposed places carry a rare kind of magic which feeds directly into the pleasant experience attendees have at Saint Andrew’s. It was the perfect spot for one of Modern Metal’s hottest bands to bring their headlining 2022 USA tour last weekend. Jinjer came to town, and they came ready to show off.

System Of A Down, Incubus, Korn, Evanescence and Deftones will headline Sick New World Festival, a new music festival in 2023 featuring some of the biggest names in nu-metal. Among the dozens of bands on the bill, it will mark the reunions of both Flyleaf with lacey Sturm and Coal Chamber. The event will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was the site of the recent When We Were Young Festival, that was forced to cancel one day of the fest due to high winds.

Download Festival will return for 2021, featuring headliners KISS, Biffy Clyro, and System Of A Down and many more bands including A Day To Remember, Mastodon, Control The Storm, Gender Roles, Jamie Lenman, Myles Kennedy & Company, Deftones, Korn, The Distillers, Steel Panther, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, The Darkness, Black Veil Brides, Creeper, Alestorm and The Pretty Reckless. Seventy-three bands in all have been announced! Tickets go on sale on August 7th at 9 AM GMT. More bands have yet to be announced. Last year’s inaugural Inkcarceration Fest in Ohio was a smash! The fest is back in 2019 and looks big with Shinedown, Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, +Live+, Taking Back Sunday, Seether, Skillet among the bands playing over three days in July 12th– 14th at the Historic Ohio State Reformatory.
