Although he is home from the hospital and recovering from the flu and an upper respiratory infection, Ozzy Osbourne has canceled his scheduled headline appearances in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, including Download Japan and Download Australia next month. According to his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne “Ozzy recently developed pneumonia and has spent some time in the hospital. Thankfully he is now through the worst part. His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for a full six weeks with no travel.” A statement by Download Japan fest reveals that Ozzy is still too unwell to travel and tour as planned. The fest is working to find a replacement act, which already has Slayer, Sun 41, Anthrax, Arch Enemy, Halestorm, Man With A mission and more, so they will not be offering refunds.
