In a new interview with Chad Smith of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, we now have a great many more details about Ozzy Osbourne’s new album, Ordinary Man, officially due for release on February 21st via Epic Records. During an appearance on “Volume West”, which airs daily on SiriusXM Volume channel 106 host Lyndsey Parker got Smith to reveal a bunch of details about recording the album with producer Andrew Watt, how he and Duff McKagan came to write and play on the album, that Slash has played on two songs, the current single ‘Straight To Hell’, and the title track ‘Ordinary Man’ which also features Sir Elton John, and more! Ozzy Osbourne Has Worked On a New Song with Elton John

According to his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne is working on a new song with fellow music legend Sir Elton John. Sharon broke the news of the surprise collaboration was broken earlier today (Monday, January 6) by Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon on her daytime TV talk show “The Talk” Asked by co-host Carrie Ann Inaba what 2020 has in store for Ozzy, Sharon said (see video below): “A lot of good things. Wellness. And to get back with his fans, to get doing what he loves, which is touring and being out there with his fans. And yes, there’s new music, and it’s great. He’s got all his friends playing on it. He’s doing a song with Elton. There’s so much good stuff. Good things.” It is not presently clear if Ozzy’s song with Elton will be included on the Ordinary Man album, which will be released later in 2020 via Epic Records. Elton himself is no newbie to hard rock or metal artists, such as the title track from Alice In Chain’s 2009 album, ‘Black Gives Way To Blue’, which features Elton on piano. Continue reading →

Ozzy Osbourne has shared his new video for his hit single ‘Under The Graveyard’ for his upcoming album Ordinary Man, coming in 2020. Directed by Jonas Akerlund, who has directed Ozzy for videos of tracks such as ‘Let Me Hear You Scream’ and ‘Gets Me Through’ and the Black Metal history biopic, Lords of Chaos. The video tells the story of how Ozzy, fired from Black Sabbath was in Hollywood on a path of self-destruction when his manager Sharon Arden (later his wife) helped him survive. Watch the clip now. This marks his third No. 1 on this chart and his first in 10 years; “Under The Graveyard” is his first new solo music in as many years.
