Milwaukee Metalfest Adds Municipal Waste, Autopsy, Terrorizer, Macabre, Nunslaughter, Gatecreeper, Skeletal Remains, Creeping Death, Upon Stone, Stabbing, and More to 2024 lineup!


Milwaukee Metal Festival has completed its 2024, lineup with a bunch of new bands in the bill. The iconic midwestern, multi-day event is now les for the highly anticipated 2024 edition, with more TBA! The festival is now welcoming brings Municipal Waste, Autopsy, Terrorizer, Macabre, Nunslaughter, Gatecreeper, Skeletal Remains, Creeping Death, Upon Stone, Stabbing, Monochromatic Black, Deathray Vision, Backlash, Bewitcher, Morbikon, Dead By Wednesday, Engineered Society Project, Hatriot, and Time To Kill. In addition, the details for the pre-party on May 16 have also been revealed! The event is free to anyone who holds a 3-day pass for the festival and will be headlined by a special Jasta and Friends set, featuring Bobby Blitz, Zetro, Bobby Hambel and more. Possessed Suffers A Tour Bus Breakdown, Forced to Cancel the Remaining Dates of of Their Current Headline Tour


After a hometown show at The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, Death Metal genre founders Possessed have apparently been forced to cancel the final two dates of their current tour with NunSlaughter and The Black Moriah. The band’s tour bus suffered a breakdown, and prevented them from making their show last night, December 19th, in Portland. NunSlaughter has now shared that Possessed’s manager has made the call that the final show of the tour in Seattle for tonight, December 20th, is also cancelled. Possessed has been picking up shows this fall, and has stated that work has commenced on a new album, for release at a future date to be announced. Continue reading

Maryland Deathfest to Return in 2024

In a statement posted on social media, Maryland Deathfest has announced they will return! After a hiatus for 2023 the fest will return from May 23rd to May 26th, 2024. In a message to fans the co-founders of MDF discussed the hiatus and the the return as well as new dates for 2024. MDF 2024 will be their 20th fest in Baltimore. They did announce that aftert the upcoming London Desertfest, they are discontinuing all other festivals they have put on, Netherlands Deathfest, California Deathfest, and more will be no more. MDF has operated for almost 20 years, put on 19 fests, and expanded to a global footprint, all while giving a greater voice to Death Metal, Avant-Garde Metal, Stoner Doom, and more genres, perhaps as much or more than any fest in the world.
