Pixies Cancel September U.S. Tour Dates

In a move echoed by many bands lately, legendary Alt-Rockers Pixies have canceled all of their 2021 tour dates, due to the surge of the Delta variant of the Coronavirus pandemic. their 11-date U.S. September run that also included scheduled appearances at Summerfest in Milwaukee, and Chicago’s Riot Fest. They also were to open for the previously canceled Nine Inch Nails tour dates in Cleveland. Pixies’ cancelled dates are below and ticket holders can obtain refunds from point of purchase.

ALBUM REVIEW: Perturbator – Lustful Sacraments


James Kent, based in Paris, has released several records since 2012 under the name Perturbator. His music under this moniker can be loosely defined as synthwave but, in reality, Perturbator’s evades such straightforward categorisation. Incorporating elements of early synth-based music, as well techno, gothic rock, ambient music, and metal, Perturbator has been compared to Kraftwerk, John Carpenter, and Nine Inch Nails, amongst many others.

Misfits will headline along with My Chemical Romance, already announced for 2022. tickets are on sale now for 2022 and this year’s Riot Fest features Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, DEVO, NOFX, Dinosaur Jr., Motion City Soundtrack, Smashing Pumpkins, Run the Jewels, Pixies, Circle Jerks, Coheed & Cambria, K.Flay, Meg Myers, Les Savy Fav, and many others to perform.
