Wardruna to Release “Runaljod Trilogy” Book + 3CD Set

On the heels of announcing a new record deal and new music for 2020, Wardruna will close the chapter on their acclaimed “Runaljod Trilogy”. The band will share a set with all three albums into a special limited book edition including original lyrics together with English translations and exclusive pictures. The Runaljod Trilogy Book will arrive as a 3CD will be available on November 15th in the Wardruna online stores and during the upcoming Wardruna European Tour. The first 1000 copies include a bookmark autographed by Einar Selvik. In addition to tour dates and festivals for 2020 and new music, the new season of Vikings on the History Channel is coming soon with Einar’s contributions to the soundtrack. Continue reading →


Wardruna is Writing Their Next Album Right Now! Announces New Record Deal and 2020 Tour Dates

Globally acclaimed Norse music act Wardruna has shared the news via Facebook that they are working on new music! According to leader Einar Selvik (Vikings on History Channel), they are “deep in the writing process for their new album”. Their new album due in 2020 will appear on their new label, Sony/Columbia which they also just announced. The band has also booked further 2020 tour dates, including the UK. They will continue their world tour in 2019 with a date in a few weeks at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, followed by more European tour dates to close out the year. We are stoked for new Wardruna music, as we have covered them from the very beginning of Ghost Cult in 2012!
