Slipknot Teases New Music and Release Times on Social Media


Long in the works and highly anticipated for a late 2022 release, new Slipknot music is a given. Considering both Corey Taylor and Clown have been hyping it up for over a year, we know it is a matter of “when” not “if” we are getting to hear the next Knot album. Considering the next leg of the Knotfest Roadshow is booked for this fall and several Knotfest festival events are happening soon, this looks like new music is incoming, as soon as this week!

Slipknot To Drop Unreleased “Psychedelic Album” Outtakes from “All Hope Is Gone” Sessions Soon


In a new interview with Loudwire’s Jon Wiederhorn, M. Shawn Crahan (a.k.a. Clown, a.k.a #6), the leader of Slipknot has revealed the band will release an entire albums’ worth of new, never before heard material leftover from 2008’s All Hope is Gone (Roadrunner). This revelation comes on the heels that the prolific and popular metallers also have an album’s worth of new songs remaining unreleased after their new album We Are Not Your Kind (also Roadrunner) came out recently. Slipknot Teases Another New Song, Due for Release on Monday


We are less than three weeks away for a new Slipknot record! The band posted a 17-second teaser for a new song, from their We Are Not Your Kind album. The clip, in which vocalist Corey Taylor can be heard singing “Today, upon this hill, I’m counting all the killers …,” includes a brief flash showing the bands’ logo along with the word “Monday,” implying that the full track will be made available on July 22. We Are Not Your Kind will be released on August 9 via Roadrunner. The disc was once again recorded at a Los Angeles studio with producer Greg Fidelman, who engineered and mixed their 2004 album Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) and helmed 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter.Continue reading


Slipknot – Unsainted


Welp, the wait is over. We finally got a sample of Slipknot album number six and the sound of it is good so far. It turns out ‘All Out Life, surprise released last Halloween is not on the new album, but what a good advertisement that track is when it says the album title over and over in it. The band has been promising brutal new music in their interviews, so we finally get to be the judge of that. Every band says their new album is their best. Slipknot, no a stranger to bravado and backing up, but they have been careful to steer clear of such a prediction. 2016’s .5: The Grey Chapter (Roadrunner Records) was phenomenal, so surely the pressure to perform is there.
