Life of Agony To Continue “River Runs Red” Story on New Album


Life of Agony is in the studio, recording their new album, due out later in 2019 via Napalm Records. After releasing an ominous teaser, the band has confirmed that their new album will be a continuation of the story of the teenager from their classic 1993 album River Runs Red (Roadrunner) story. The teaser asks “what if he survived”, which will be the concept of the album. The band has some tour dates booked, including a special show in New York with Overkill his May, and Wacken Open Air in August. River Runs Red turned twenty-five years old in 2018. Life Of Agony Is In The Studio Demoing Songs For Their New Album


In a post to Twitter today Life of Agony’s Mina Caputo revealed that the band is in the studio, right now, working on pre-production of new music for their next album. The bands’ next album will be their follow up to their 2017 release A Place Where There’s No More Pain, out now via Napalm Records. The album will be their first album with new drummer Veronica Bellino, who took over the drum throne in 2018 and toured the world with the band. Ghost Cult chatted with bassist/vocalist Alan Robert last fall and he gave fans an idea of the many plans LOA is working on for what sounds like a busy 2019. You can see that interview below. Life Of Agony To Begin Recording New Album In Early 2019


In a new interview, Life Of Agony has revealed they are entering the studio in February to begin recording their new album. This is in addition to details about the writing and recording process LOA was planning for 2019 bassist Alan Robert chatted with Ghost Cult about in our interview with him earlier this fall see clip below. The band has spent most of 2018 headlining their own world tour, “The Rise Of The Underground Tour”. The bands’ next album will be their follow up to their 2017 release A Place Where There’s No More Pain, via Napalm Records.
