Deftones Drop New Video for “Ohms”, Pre-Orders Go Live for New Album and Remix Album Confirmed

After weeks of teases, new Deftones music is here! The band officially announced their new album, Ohms, arriving on September 25th via Warner Records. The announcement arrives with the epic title track, a new video directed by Rafatoon and updated website at deftones.com and seen below. Artwork for the album has been designed by longtime collaborator Frank Maddocks (who also designed the iconic White Pony LP cover), the captivating album image of two eyes made up of thousands of white pixels. The image appeared online and on a billboard in the cultural hot-spot of Los Angeles on Fairfax Avenue above the landmark restaurant Canter’s Deli with the caption “This Is Our Time…We Devour The Days Ahead.” Watch the video for “Ohms” and pre-order the album now! The Ocean Shares a New Video for “Oligocene”, New Album Incoming

Progressive post-Metallers The Ocean will release their 8th full-length, Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic, via Metal Blade Records (CD / digital) and the band’s own Pelagic Records (vinyl). In 2018, The Ocean released Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic – the first half of a sprawling but superbly cohesive paleontology concept album. Now, the group is ready to release the eagerly-awaited concluding parts of the Phanerozoic journey. The band has released a video for the new single “Oligocene” (filmed by band members Loic Rossetti, David Ahfeldt and Robin Staps, plus edited and animated by Craig Murray) which you can watch right now!

Def Leppard Share New “Inside The Album” Video from Their “High N Dry” Album

Def Leppard has released an “inside the album” style video for their 1981 album “High ‘N’ Dry”. The album will turn forty years old in July of 2021. During its formative years in the late 1970s, Def Leppard became one of the hottest properties to emerge from the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. For its sophomore release, “High ‘N’ Dry”, the Sheffield quintet turned to a new producer, Robert John “Mutt” Lange, whose credits included AC/DC’s multi-platinum “Back In Black”.

Queen Drummer Roger Taylor Shares Animated Video for “Isolation” Solo Single

Legendary Queen co-founder and drummer Roger Taylor has released an animated video for his new solo single, “Isolation”. The clip was produced by Animind Studio 2020. Released on June 22, the song was recorded during the lockdown and is said to reflect “the current times of COVID-19.” Taylor told BBC Radio 6 Music about the inspiration for “Isolation”: “It was a frustration and a slight anxiety behind it all, so I just thought I would write a song about how to fill the day — routine in isolation. It’s something we are not used to. It is a direct reflection of how I was feeling at the time.” Continue reading

Rabid Flesh Eaters Share New Video for “The Fall”

Texan Rabid Flesh Eaters have shared their new music video for their track ‘The Fall’ from their new album, R.F.E, out now! The record features the final recording by Rigor Mortis vocalist Bruce Corbitt, trading lines with Rabid Flesh Eaters vocalist Ricky Wilson. Corbitt sadly passed away in 2019 after a long bout with Esophageal cancer. ‘The Fall’ was produced by Cyclonus Video, the company responsible for the recently released “Lycanthrope” video, taken from Rabid Flesh Eaters ’ Reign of Terror album.
