Turnstyle Productions and Riot Fest Presents Cultivate Festival, Chicago’s First Festival Celebration of Cannabis Culture, August 25-27th at new outdoor venue in the West Loop, The Nursery! Watch Madball, Murphy’s Law, and Bloodclot Play a Concert with No Restrictions in New York City


Yesterday in New York City, respected promotor Black N Blue Productions held a concert in the famed Tompkins Square Park in the Lower East Side. The bill included Madball, Murphy’s Law, Bloodclot , and The Captured and featured all the hallmarks of most classic hardcore shows: close quarters, moshing, stage diving. The crowd of 1000s seemed to only have minimal mask-wearing fans and zero social distancing. Watch some fan-filmed videos of the show here.

Hardcore Supergroup Kings Never Die To Release New EP in 2020


Upstate Records, purveyors of some of the best Hardcore Punk and Metal releases the last few years, have signed underground supergroup Kings Never Die. The band will release their debut four-song EP, Raise A Glass, in 2020. The band consists of members of New York HC legends like Mucky Pup, Dog Eat Dog, and Murphy’s Law such as guitarist Larry “The Hunter” Nieroda (Murphy’s Law, Stigma) called up longtime friend and guitarist Dan Natasi (Dog Eat Dog, Mucky Pup); the two immediately began work on what would become Kings Never Die. The pair were quickly joined by drummer John Milnes (Mucky Pup), bass player Jay Kaflin (Sub Zero, Son Of Sam), and vocalist Dylan Gadino (Robots And Monsters). These established scene greats have come together to form an explosive combo of punk rock and hardcore with hooks and catchy parts too! They released their first singles ‘Before My Time’ and ‘The Juice’ earlier in 2019 and back in September they played their first show at the legendary birthplace of New York Hardcore, NYC A7. New York Punk And Metal Legend Todd Youth Has Died, Age 48


In sad news, Todd Youth (born Todd Schofield). Legend of bands like Agnostic Front, Danzig, Ace Frehley, Bloodclot, Fireburn, Murphy’s Law and many more has passed away. He was 48. Todd passed suddenly and unexpectedly, and as of now, there is no further information at this time. Todd played guitar and bass in many bands, getting his start in Murphy’s Law in the NYHC scene at the age of 12. The news of Todd’s passing was shared by Israel Joseph I (Bad Brains, Fireburn) on Facebook.Continue reading

Todd Youth Talks Bloodclot, Punk History, Rock Royalty And More


Todd Youth is a legend of New York Hardcore, rock and metal. At 12 years old he played bass in Agnostic Front and later went on to play in or work with Murphy’s Law, and Warzone. Youth has also played with Danzing, Samhain, D Generation, Glenn Campbell, Son Of Sam, The Chelsea Smiles, Cheap Trick, Ace Frehley (current band), and briefly with Motorhead. Todd is currently playing with his hardocre punk supergroup Bloodclot, with members of Cro-Mags, Queens Of The Stone Age, and The Dwarves.
