Mr. Bungle Announce Four-Part “Disco Volante Era Improv At The Bomb Factory” NFT Series


Legendary musical anomalies – Mr. Bungle have announced they will release their first ever NFT collection, a series of four NFTs dubbed “Disco Volante Era Improv at The Bomb Factory.” The auction for the series begins on Aug. 2 at 9 am pacific/12 noon eastern via SuperRare. Each NFT features 2 minutes and 30 seconds of previously unreleased music with animation created by Eric Livingston. The purchasers will also receive a hyper limited-edition (1 of 4) lathe cut vinyl featuring the full 10-minute song and high resolution animated mp4.

Misfits will headline along with My Chemical Romance, already announced for 2022. tickets are on sale now for 2022 and this year’s Riot Fest features Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, DEVO, NOFX, Dinosaur Jr., Motion City Soundtrack, Smashing Pumpkins, Run the Jewels, Pixies, Circle Jerks, Coheed & Cambria, K.Flay, Meg Myers, Les Savy Fav, and many others to perform. The track comes off of their first full-length album in eight years, Tonic Immobility, on March 26 via Ipecac Recordings. UPDATED: Supergroup Tomahawk (Faith No More, Jesus Lizard, Battles) Teases New Album and Music


Legendary avant-garde rock supergroup Tomahawk, comprised of current and former members of Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Jesus Lizard, Helmet, Battles, and more, has dropped a video teaser! You can hear new music and this may mean we will get news of a new album, too The teaser was shared via the Ipecac Records social media pages, which is the bands’ label, co-owned by frontman Mike Patton. The band has not released new music since 2013’s Oddfellows. Last year, guitarist Duane Dennison revealed the band was working on a new album. The full reveal is expected on January 21st, 2021! (UPDATE you can hear the bands’ new single here!)

2020..What can I say? A year where Poppy releases a metal album and Glenn Danzig does an album of Elvis covers (for real go look it up)! Seriously though I think it was a bad year for everyone. Luckily there was some killer music to help us all get through. So, I’ve compiled a list of what helped me. This list was a lot harder to make than I first thought it was going to be so much good stuff out there. To be clear though, this isn’t a “best of” it’s just a list of my personal fav’s this year.
