When We Were Young Music Festival Cancels Day One of Their Festival Due to High Winds

The highly anticipated destination music festival aimed at Punks, elder Emos, and millennials, When We Were Young Festival featuring My Chemical Romance, Paramore, and Avril Lavigne has been forced to cancel day one of their sold out event. The cancellation was announced at 10 AM PST, just an hour before gates were to open at Las Vegas Festival Grounds. due to high winds. Winds were forecasted for up to 30-40 MPH which increases the safety hazard for an outdoor stage. The fest is still expected to take place tomorrow and again next weekend; on October 29th, 2022.

Knotfest, the destination festival brand curated by Slipknot, is continuing its ever-expanding global domination with the announcement of Knotfest Colombia 2022 which will take place on Friday, December 9th at Campin Circuit of Bogotá. Headlined by Judas Priest and the recently reformed Pantera (featuring Zakk Wylde on guitar and Anthrax’s Charlie Benante on drums), Knotfest Colombia’s first wave of bands announced also features Bring Me The Horizon, Trivium, Hypocrisy, Sepultura, Suicide Silence And Sold with more still to be announced. Parkway Drive Announced As Co-Headliner For ShipRocked 2023


Returning to the USA for the first time since 2019, Parkway Drive has been announced as the Co-Headliner for ShipRocked 2023! They join Falling In Reverse atop a bill that includes Nothing More, Skillet, Suicidal Tendencies, Motionless In White, grandson, Ayron Jones, and over a dozen others. The January 22-28, 2023 sailing on Carnival Magic will feature Parkway Drive’s first American performance since spring of 2019.
