Ghost Cult caught up with Motörhead/Scorpions/King Diamond drumming legend Mikkey Dee to discuss the deluxe version of the band’s last album – “Bad Magic” from 2015 … “Seriously Bad Magic!” The new record is out now via Silver Lining Music. Mikkey discussed the new release, presenting the “lost” tracks, his relationship with Phil Campbell, the trouble with the media, protecting Lemmy’s legacy, working with producer Cameron Webb, and if Motörhead will ever get into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame!

David Z (David Zablidowsky) was the brilliant metal and progressive rock musician best known for his work in bands such as Adrenaline Mob, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and ZO2, died three years ago on July 17th, 2017 when a tractor-trailer collided with Adrenaline Mob’s tour bus. Motörhead Makes a Case For Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Christmas Message


Motörhead has a big 2019 with its acclaimed 1979 boxed-set and their nomination for the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hard playing and hard living band founded in 1975 continues to reverberate among fans old and new. Watch drummer Mikkey Dee (Scorpions) make a plea for his band as well as all of the rock and Heavy Metal bands nominated, Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy, MC5 and Soundgarden, the video urges fans to participate in the fan vote for the RNRHOF, and wish fans a Merry Christmas! Phil Campbell And Mikkey Dee Pay Tribute To Lemmy Kilmister


December 28th, 2015 is a date that no fan of heavy music will ever forget. It is the day we lost Lemmy Kilmister. The Motorhead icon passed away after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer, and left a giant hole in the music world that no one will ever fill. He was a man who truly lived his life by his own rules, and kicked ass on and off the stage until he couldn’t kick ass anymore. So therefore today is not a day to be sad, but a day to raise a glass and pay tribute to the legend we lost two years ago, and that’s exactly what his former band mates have made clear online. The remaining members of Motörhead will be releasing a collection of their best covers on September 1st, which includes the previously unreleased version of David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ that we premiered earlier this month.
