MxPx is gearing up for a busy 2023! Today, the band announced they will be headlining Furnace Fest in Birmingham, AL this Fall, closing the first night on September 22, 2023. Other headliners on the fest include Turnstile, Bane, and Pennywise. With new music on the way, the band plans to be making more appearances this year, including the highly raved-about When We Were Young Festival in 2023 alongside Blink-182 and Green Day (now with an additional day).
Milwaukee Metal Fest 2023 has added a slew of new bands including Milwaukee Metal Fest Books Machine Head, Deeds of Flesh, Angelus Apatrida, Midnight, Warbringer, Bodysnatcher, Vended, Malignancy, Morta Skuld, Ripper Owens, Pissing Razors, and many more. Machine Head is a particular coup for the fest since they rarely do festivals, and none in the USA for many, many years. As promised, Maryland Deathfest has shared its first announcement of bands for its 2024 festival return. Bloodbath, 1349, Coffins, Broken Hope, Skinless, Sacrifice, Carpathian Forest, Tankard, and more head up a killer lineup so far with many US-exclusive appearances. On hiatus for 2023, the festival is scheduled to take place May 23rd to 26th, 2024 in Baltimore, Limited early-bird tickets for the event will be available via the fest’s ticketing partner Eventbrite on Friday, January 27 at 11 AM EST.
Baltimore’s annual Grim Reefer Fest has announced its full lineup for the upcoming event. Baltimore, MD on Saturday, April 29th, 2023. Pantera – paying tribute to the classic 1990s metal band, will be one of the headliners of Aftershock Sacramento 2023, as part of the Danny Wimmer Presents Festivals. The current lineup of the band features Pantera mainstays Philip Anselmo, and Rex Brown, with Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. Taking place at Discovery Park in October, weekend passes are on sale now! Many more bands will be announced soon! Pantera just completed a tour of Mexico and South America, will play other American festivals, and will open for Metallica on select dates of the 72 Seasons World Tour, and many more to come.
