ALBUM REVIEW: Memphis May Fire – Remade In Misery


 

With four years since the last album, metalcore lovers from the 2010s Warped Tour days have been eager to hear more from one of the community’s most prominent bands Memphis May Fire. After taking a more hard rock-leaning detour with their last record, Broken in 2018, the Texan four-piece are back to their post-hardcore roots with seventh album Remade In Misery (Rise Records). Giving a new taste of the sound that earned them most of their fans in their early years, Memphis puts in the same amount of heart we heard from them in the days of The Hollow and Challenger, but now with a newfound self-assurance and poise. Rock USA Festival Has Been Forced to Cancel Their 2020 Event Due To COVID-19


Rock USA and its sister festival Country USA has been forced to cancel their 2020 events due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The festival, one of the biggest in the US, was to have celebrated its 10th-anniversary edition this summer, and was going to take place July 16-18 at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Of the 40 bands and headliners and support acts included Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Rob Zombie (headlining for a 3rd straight year), Halestorm, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, Anthrax, Chevelle, Avtar, Feever333, Hellyeah, Steel Panther, Knocked Loose, Bad Wolves, Attila and more. Slipknot, Disturbed, Staind, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach and More Booked for Rock Fest


Rock Fest has set most of its lineup, according to a report by The PRP. Slipknot, Disturbed, Staind, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, and dozens of more bands will head the bill at the annual fest held near Cadott, WI from July 16th-18th. One direct support act to headliner Limp Bizkit is still pending for Saturday, July 18th. They will be revealed on January 24th.Continue reading
