My Dying Bride had a busy 2018 planned with many festival appearances, and other tour dates in the works as preparation continues for their highly anticipated new album, their 13th, due later this year via Nuclear Blast Records. The band has announced they are canceling their previously booked appearance at Maryland Deathfest 2018, the latest in a string of gigs they are pulling out of, due to an ongoing illness of a family member of Aaron Stainthorpe. According to the bands’ website, the situation is said to be “a severe and fearful illness”, that has gone on since early last fall.
