Listen to Beastie Boys’ Classic “Intergalactic” in The New Teaser Trailer for “The Marvels”

Marvel Studios film The Marvels, the sequel to both the Captain Marvel movie and the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel is due to release on November 10th, 2023. The first teaser trailer dropped and features Beastie Boys’ smash hit “Intergalactic!” The track came from their 1998 album Hello Nasty, and gives the trailer for this fun-looking MCU film a big lift. The film stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon. Nia DaCosta directs, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Watch the trailer now!

Jimi Hendrix Classic “Voodoo Child (Slight Return)” Appears in the New Episode of WandaVision

Marvel Studios and Disney+ series WandaVision aired its fourth and so far, pivital episode this weekend (January 29th, 2021). As the closing credits rolled, Jimi Hendrix’s classic rock anthem “Voodoo Child (Slight Return)” – perfectly matching the mystical elements of the show. The track comes from Jimi’s iconic Electric Ladyland album. The show stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. The Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany as Vision in the continuation of the MCU movies directly following the events of Avengers Endgame and Spiderman: Far From Home.Continue reading →


Captain Marvel Film Features Nirvana, Garbage, Hole, Elastica, Heart, R.E.M., and More!

Captain Marvel finally came out last weekend to smash success, shattering first week expectations. Set in the 1990s the film features an amazing soundtrack to match the film full of pop culture references like Blockbuster Videos, Gameboys, Troll Dolls and that dope vintage Nine Inch Nails shirt (the band is now selling a collabo item). In addition to the Elastica hit song ‘Connection’ heard in the trailer, the film features memorable 1990s tracks by megastars Nirvana, Garbage, Hole, Beck, R.E.M., Salt N Pepper featuring En Vogue, TLC, and No Doubt. The film also features other artists like Heart, Lita Ford, The Hunting Party, The Marvelettes in addition to The Captain Marvel Official Soundtrack Album score by Pinar Toprak. No word yet if the popular songs will be released as a soundtrack yet. The next film in the MCU series from Disney/Marvel Studios is Avengers: Endgame next month.
