Arjen Lucassen, the mastermind behind Ayreon, has been hard at work again. In this year full of turmoil and unexpected events, he has bestowed upon us a new multi-media project called Transitus (Mascot Label Group). Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has announced his next book will be Rust In Peace: The Inside Story Of The Megadeth Masterpiece (formerly “Building The Perfect Beast”), on September 8th via Hachette Books. Dave was the original lead guitarist of Metallica, and the author of The New York Times bestseller Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir. Megadeth To Perform Entire “Youthanasia” Album Next Halloween

Megadeth  will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their Youthansia album on Halloween, October 31st by playing the record in its entirety on October 31 at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, Colorado. The album, released on November 1st 1994 via Capitol Records, was certified platinum in an age when physical albums, specifically CD’s drove sales. Continue reading
