Metal Allegiance Books 5th Annual Winter Show, Playing New York This Weekend In Brooklyn


Metal supergroup Metal Allegiance has booked their 5th annual show at House Of Blues Anaheim on January 24th, always surrounding the winter NAMM show. The night will include several special guests as well as feature music from their debut album and recent release Volume II – Power Drunk Majesty (Nuclear Blast). Joining the band will be Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), Mark Osegueda (Death Angel), John Bush (Armored Saint), Chuck Billy (Testament), Bobby Blitz (Overkill), Trevor Strnad (The Black Dahlia Murder), Mark Tornillo (Accept), Phil Demmel (Machine Head), Alissa White-Gluz – Official Page (Arch Enemy) and Doyle W. Von Frankenstein (The Misfits). The night will be presented by Nuclear Blast & sponsored by IK Multimedia, Murder in the Front Row, by Harald Oimoen & Brian Lew & Orange Amplifiers. We were on hand last week to see metal history as Metal Allegiance, themselves a supergroup of the greatest metal musicians (Mike Portnoy, Alex Skolnick, David Ellefson, Mark Menghi) played New York City’s Gramercy Theatre. The celebrate the release of their new album Metal Allegiance II: Power Drunk Majesty on Nuclear Blast Records, they were joined by a who’s who of legends and current stars of heavy music including Mark Osegueda of Death Angel, Bobby Blitz of Overkill, Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy, John Bush of Armored Saint, Andres Kisser of Sepultura, Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder, Mark Tornillo of TT Quick, In addition to playing cuts off their brand new album Metal Allegiance II: Power Drunk Majesty (Nuclear Blast), they played a ton of sick covers. Max Cavalera Discusses Working With Metal Allegiance In A New Video


Supergroup Metal Allegiance, featuring David Ellefson (Megadeth), Alex Skolnick (Testament), Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, ex-Dream Theater) and Mark Menghi will release its sophomore album, “Volume II – Power Drunk Majesty”, on September 7 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The band released its second single, ‘Voodoo Of The Godsend’, featuring Max Cavalera (Soulfly, Sepultura, Cavalera Conspiracy).
