Foo Fighters Announce First Wave of Special Guests for The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert in Los Angeles


The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will benefit charities in both the UK and the US and was chosen by the Hawkins family. Beneficiaries and further details will be announced shortly. Performing alongside The Foo Fighters, the first guest artists for Los Angeles announced are Chris Chaney, Stewart Copeland, Miley Cyrus, Omar Hakim, Joshua Homme, Joan Jett, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Brian May, Mark Ronson, Alanis Morissette, Gene Simmons, Nikki Sixx, Chad Smith, Luke Spiller, Roger Taylor, Rufus Taylor, Jon Theodore, Wolfgang Van Halen, Brad Wilk, Pat Wilson, and a special appearance by Chevy Metal. More artists and guests will be announced. The Los Angeles concert takes place on Tuesday, Sept 27th, 2022 at The Kia Forum. You can sign up for a pre-sale code at the Foo Fighters website.The LA public on sale will begin Friday, 16th of June at 9am local time. Queens Of The Stone Age – Villains


It’s hard for established bands to take risks in the landscape that is 2017 in music. Especially when your band comes attached with a cultural cache like Queens Of The Stone Age, on album number seven, with love from the critics, indie cred, and what amounts to major label distro. Having conquered many frontiers as a headliner, but still looking for the challenge, QOTSA teamed up with hit-making pop and dance producer Mark Robson to create what would become Villains (Matador). Ronson’s name comes with little to no background in the greasy stoner rock the band is known for, but rather for putting Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lady Gaga and the ubiquitous (for better or worse) ‘Uptown Funk’ with Bruno Mars on the map to the tune of millions in sales.
