Orbit Culture Books Headline Tour Dates, is Planning New Music, and Looking For a New Label

In addition to booking their first headline tour of Europe and the UK next, year, Orbit Culture updated fans on social media that they are working on new music in addition to a full year of touring. The band announced they have amicably completed their commitment to the Seek and Strike record label, after surprise releasing a new EP, The Forgotten, a few weeks back. The band released their recent full-length album Descent, and are seeking a new album deal for their next album. The much hyped Swedish metal band is likely to draw a bidding war amongst metal labels for their services. Machine Head Suffers a Flood in Their Rehearsal Studio – Canceling Their “Electric Happy Hour” Livestreams Between Tours

In a new video update, Machine Head’s leader Robb Flynn did a tour of their rehearsal studio in the Bay Area after they suffered from a recent flood, and made the space unusable. Fortunately, all of their touring gear was spared, and the band will still be able to prepare for the upcoming Slaughter The Martour dates with Fear Factory. Robb has also asked fans not to start a GoFundMe or other fundraiser for the band, and that fans should take care of themselves and their own, since the holidays are upon us. Tickets are on sale for the tour now, and you can always support the band by buying merch from them, such as their recent anniversary vinyl of Through The Ashes of Empires, out now via Nuclear Blast.

Download Festival, the greatest rock and metal festival of all time, returns for its 21st edition, reborn and recharged in 2024 as DLXXI. Nu Metal legends Limp Bizkit has been added to the festival bill. This year’s festival will take place on 14-16 June 2024 at the spiritual home of rock in Donington Park, Leicestershire. Hellfest, held every year just outside of Paris, in Clisson, France, continues to up the ante every year with forever growing and impressive lineups! In time for Record Store Day Black Friday last weekend, Machine Head and Nuclear Blast Records released a 20th anniversary vinyl edition of their 2003 album Through The Ashes of Empires.
