Long-running Tucson, Arizona-based heavy rockers A Fall to Break has released their brand new album, Divided By Tyrants, and we are excited to share it with you, here at Ghost Cult! Not only has the band released the album on streaming services such as Apple Music and Spotify, but they have created a series of lyric videos for every track, in collaboration with Originate Designs, in order to bring the songs to life. These songs are melodic, heavy, and heady, catching your attention and pulling you in deep. Formerly signed to KBB Records (Benjamin Bruce of Asking Alexandria), the band has made a name for themselves over the years supporting such luminaries as Alice In Chains, Jane’s Addiction, Five Finger Death Punch, Three Days Grace, Sevendust, Mushroomhead, In This Moment, HellYeah, Asking Alexandria, Candlebox, Lacuna Coil, Soil, Hed PE, and others as they became a fixture on the festival circuit in the Southwestern United States for years. Just in time for the season of all things spooky, we bring you melancholic Gothic Metallers The Nocturnal Affair and their creepy new music video for “Beyond The Wall Of Sleep”! The band is led by singer/songwriter Brendan Shane, with his smooth and dusky voice and deft melodic sense, he creates a stark contrast to the heavy and gloomy instrumentation. Riffs, double-bass beats, and haunting synths will catch you in the feels and bring you closer. The Haunted House vibe of the lyric video is the perfect Autumn bring me down, to the grave! The track is the first taste of their debut album (Meta)morphosis, due out in early 2021 and it was produced by John Moyer (Disturbed), with mixing and mastering by Logan Mader (Machine Head, Once Human). Logan also contributed to some of the songwriting and production. Check out the video now!

New York City’s synth-based/grindcore innovators OvertheTop have been steadily dropping new singles and videos for the last year, and their current album Resist released last spring. Today they have shared a new single and lyric video for the track “The Beating”! For the uninitiated, OvertheTop mashes up the awesome sounds of the 1980s dance and post-Punk, cinematic soundtracks, and classic grindcore, unapologetically and unironically so. The band is made up of members of stalwart NYC bands Alekhine’s Gun, Desolate, and Severed, and is a must-listen. Watch the clip for “The Beating” here!
Veteran New York City rockers Bad Citizen are back with another brand new single! The latest single is the third in a series of tracks the band was holding back for their future EP, also titled Demolition, but opted to get the music out to the people now, due to the state of the world in 2020. The raw bluesy swagger of the main riff and verse of “Demolition” gives way to the insanely hooky chorus! It’s like a mashup of Queens of The Stone Age and The Ramones, two solid influences on any modern band. According to the band, lyrically the track is about not giving a fuck about what people think about you and staying grounded in your own sense of individuality. Check out “Demolition’ right now!
Kansas City industrial rockers Razorwire Halo have teamed up with Ghost Cult to debut their new lyric video for their single, “Cover My Eyes”! All capped off by vocalist Tak Kitara’s smokey, urgent voice, the sensory overload feeling of the clip helps the narrative of the lyrics claw their way inside you. Watch “Cover My Eyes” now!
