Guns N Roses To Headline Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile in 2020

Guns N Roses will continue their wildly successful “Not In The Lifetime Tour” that has been going since 2016, with shows at three Lollapalooza Festivals in 2020: in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. No word if they will join the US version next summer in Chicago. Joining GNR will be Travis Scott, The Strokes, Lana Del Rey, Martin Garrix and Gwen Stefani. The Lineup Also Includes Armin Van Buuren, Vampire Weekend, Cage The Elephant, James Blake, Brockhampton, Alan Walker, Illenium, The Lumineers, Kacey Musgraves, Rex Orange County, Rita Ora, A Day To Remember, Charlie Xcx, Perry Farrell’s Kind Heaven Orchestra, King Princess, LP, Jaden Smith, Madeon and more. Fallujah – Undying Light

Is post-Death Metal a thing? I’m sure there’s some Metal forum that can vindicate that subgenre, but who’s got the time for that. On second thought Gorguts’ Colored Sands probably has already nabbed the coveted best post-Death album title, but I digress. Fallujah’s latest LP Undying Light (Nuclear Blast) certainly seems to fit the post-Extreme label as well, seeing that it’s an album equal parts Death and Deftones.Continue reading →


Der Weg einer Freheit – Live In Berlin

I’m listening to Der Weg einer Freheit’s Live In Berlin (Season of Mist) and, while it is a masterful showcase for the band’s far encompassing sound and overall chops, I find myself questioning the nature of live albums as a concept. Again, there’s nothing wrong per se with this October 14, 2017 recording.
