Anthrax have offered a video update of the progress of their new album due in early 2016 from Megaforce Records. The video features Frank Bello, Scott Ian, and Charlie Benante discussing the writing and recording process of new material. You can watch the video at this link or below.
Starting with Riot Fest In Chicago on September 11th, the band has tour dates booked trough the end of the year including dates with Motörhead with an appearance on the Motörhead’s Motorboat cruise, more festivals such as Loud Park in Japan, and a run of European dates with Slayer.

Anthrax have announced their full slate of fall tour dates, including major festivals, a tour with Motörhead, an appearance on Motörhead’s Motorboat cruise, headline dates and a tour of Europe with Slayer. The dates can be seen below. The band has also announced the near completion of their new album, expected to release in late 2015 or earl 2016.
The band commented on the coming new album:
Charlie Benenate: “‘Worship Music’ started a new chapter in our career, and it has served as an inspiration for this new album. ‘Worship’ was made up of a lot of different types of songs, some thrashy, some very mid-90s Anthrax-sounding, but this new one is really thrashy.”
Frank Bello: “The thing about Anthrax…we have this heavy, thrashy music and Joey’s powerful and melodic vocals. I love heavy music, but I also love melody, so the challenge is to blend them together so they sound like Anthrax, and I think we’ve done a really good job of that on this new record.”
