Machine Head Teases New Song and Video


Machine Head has teased a cryptic new teaser on their YouTube account which looks like it might be a new single and video. Maybe they are going to do a livestream concert, which fans have been clamoring for online? The band has pivoted to a series of singles recorded over the last few years, rather than a new album release. The band has released two singles this year: ‘Circle The Drain” and “Stop The Bleeding”, the latter featuring vocalist Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage. We are still waiting to hear the new songs frontman Robb Flynn wrote with Logan Mader, when he rejoined the band for the massively successful and mostly sold-out “Burn My Eyes 25” world tour. Just in time for the season of all things spooky, we bring you melancholic Gothic Metallers The Nocturnal Affair and their creepy new music video for “Beyond The Wall Of Sleep”! The band is led by singer/songwriter Brendan Shane, with his smooth and dusky voice and deft melodic sense, he creates a stark contrast to the heavy and gloomy instrumentation. Riffs, double-bass beats, and haunting synths will catch you in the feels and bring you closer. The Haunted House vibe of the lyric video is the perfect Autumn bring me down, to the grave! The track is the first taste of their debut album (Meta)morphosis, due out in early 2021 and it was produced by John Moyer (Disturbed), with mixing and mastering by Logan Mader (Machine Head, Once Human). Machine Head Books “Burn My Eyes 25” Australian and New Zealand Tour Dates


Machine Head has announced Australia and New Zealand tour dates for their smashing Burn My Eyes 25 World Tour. The dates take place in September 2020 and can be seen and purchased below. The band is also holding a contest to win tickets, with details below. Following the “An evening with…” format with no openers, the shows consist of two headline sets with the six members of Machine Head, including three original members (Robb Flynn, Logan Mader, Chris Kontos) performing all of their 1994 classic debut, Burn My Eyes (Roadrunner Records). The band just wrapped up their North American tour with many sold-out ragers and are kicking off a new leg of European dates next month. Watch the teaser announcement for the tour now!

Machine Head Shares Video for “I’m Your God Now” – Live in The Studio


Machine Head has shared another live in the studio performance video of the band running through a Burn My Eyes (Roadrunner Records) classic cut. The bad is set to kick off more Burn My Eyes 25 Tour Dates soon. We will also potentially hear another new Machine Head song soon, the next in a series of forthcoming singles, including one written by Robb Flynn and Logan Mader. Robb Flynn Has Written Seven New Machine Head Songs, Including One with Logan Mader


In a new social media post listing off 2019’s “little accomplishments” for 2019 in a year-end social media post, Robb Flynn revealed that he has seven new songs written for a future series of standalone singles by Machine Head. In addition in a recent episode of Flynn’s “No Fuckign Regrets Podcast with Robb Flynn,” he revealed one of the new songs was written with Logan Mader, the first by the two since the sessions for The More Things Change (Roadrunner) in 1996. Mader and Flynn have reunited with Chris Kontos for the Burn My Eyes 25 World Tour. Flynn has also recorded a solo album of covers that will release under the moniker of Robb Flynn & Friends. Machine Head’s recent single ‘Do Or Die’ was a controversial diss track that has been interpreted as a dig at detractors from the bands’ last album Catharsis (Nuclear Blast). Continue reading

Machine Head Shares A Message To Fans About New Members Vogg Kiełtyka and Matt Alston


In a message to fans, Machine Head has formally welcomed new members Vogg Kiełtyka and Matt Alston to the band, following their social media announcement this past weekend. Vogg of Decapitated takes over lead guitar and Matt (Devilment, Machine Head tech crew) is the new permanent drummer. Vogg will continue to work on a new Decapitated release and tour dates in 2020. He will operate in both bands. Machine Head will embark next year on the first European leg of the Burn My Eyes 25 Worldtour, featuring the band playing two sets each night. The new lineup will open, performing more recent MH tracks, while the closing set of Burn My Eyes in its entirety will be performed by the band of current members Robb Flynn, Jared McEachern and returning Logan Mader and Chris Kontos.

In a new interview out in Metal Hammer this Thursday, 5/23, Robb Flynn of Machine Head discusses new details about the forthcoming “Burn My Eyes 25” Tour featuring original members Logan Mader and Chris Kontos. In an excerpt of the wide-ranging interview that was released by Machine Head, Flynn actually gave credit to a text message from Mader, that was the impetus for reuniting this lineup up. Flynn also chatted about a brand new Machine Head track “Do or Die”, calling it “vicious” and a direct response to being “America’s punching bag” on the internet.
