The wildly successful Slam Dunk Festival is coming to Paris France this spring. The European version of the UK’s best independent alternative festival for pop-punk and rock will take place on May Bank Holiday Weekend and has booked The Used, Four Year Strong, Chunk! No Captain Chunk!, Grayscale, and Landmvrks. Five more bands will be added to the fest taking over two venues in Paris, France on Saturday 30th at La Boule Noir and La Cigale. The 2020 UK Slam Dunk will take place at Leeds Temple Newsam and Hatfield Park on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May. The two adjacent venues are set to welcome 10 outstanding artists; five of which have been announced today. Landmvrks is relatively a new band. Hailing from Marseille, France the quartet that consists of Florent Salfati, Nicolas Exposito, Rudy Purkart, and Nicolas Soriano only have one album under their belt, Hollow that was released in 2016. The debut earned them a set at last year’s Hellfest. The quartet signed a deal with Arising Empire and crafted their new album Fantasy.Continue reading
