Deicide to Debut Craft Beer “The Light Defeated” at Decibel Metal and Beer Festival



In conjunction with their upcoming headline set at Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest, death metal legends, Deicide, have collaborated with craft beer institution, 3 Floyds, for The Light Defeated. Named after the closing track from the band’s forthcoming new album, Banished by Sin (out April 26th on Reigning Phoenix Music), it will make its pouring debut at the Philadelphia edition of Decibel’s long-running extreme metal and craft beer event. Mortiferum Replace Sylvaine at Fortress Fest, joining Triptykon, Wolves In The Throne Room, Blackbraid, and more


US atmospheric death metal band, Mortiferum, have been brought in to replace Sylvaine, after they withdrew from North Yorkshire’s Fortress Festival. Also appearing at the event are Triptykon, Wolves In The Throne Room, Panopticon, Blackbraid, Misþyrming, Regarde Les Hommes Tomber, and more. FESTIVAL REVIEW: ROADBURN 2022 – Part 2


Rejoicing still in the simple fact we can have a physical Roadburn again, the final two days definitely wore on our pandemic shocked psyche and physique. Stumbling more and wearing down in a way I’m not used to, I mentioned to some friends during the weekend the Pandemic has made us all old, and 5 days on our feet now feel a lot longer. Saturday started with the feeling it felt like a Sunday, traditionally called the afterburner, because by that time you are fairly burnt out.
