Slipknot, currently on tour with their latest incarnation of The Knotfest Roadshow tour, has begun teasing something called The Knotverse, likely the band’s first foray into VR, AR, and gaming such as The Metaverse. They shared posts to social media on Friday, April 8th, 2022, with text that reads “Knotfest” and then turned into the phrase “Knotverse.” Their 1999 track “742617000027” can be heard in the background.
