Let is never be said that Sharon Osbourne is not a fierce opponent when crossed. She has hit back in a statement against President Trump for the unauthorized use of her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s classic metal anthem ‘Crazy Train”. The track showed up in a new political video by Trump and vis vice president Mike Pence, that constitutes a political ad for the 2020 election. Music Video: Upon Wings – You Are My Weapon

Michigan metallers Upon Wings are streaming their music video for “You Are My Weapon,” off of their recently released Afterlife EP. It features guest vocals and production by Brett Hestla (Dark New Day, former Creed), guitars and production by Kevin Jardine and drums by Peter Tzaferis. Kid Rock recording engineer and Grammy-nominated mixing engineer Glenn Brown mastered the EP, while Corey Lowery of Eye Empire mixed “You Are My Weapon.” Recording sessions for the EP took place at Johnny K‘s Groovemaster Studios in Chicago, Jardine’s Uplift Productions in Canada and beyond.

Danny Wimmer Presents, the festival producers of the Louder Than Life Festival have posted a 2014 recap video here. They are currently preparing to announce details for the 2015 edition.

The first annual Louder Than Life Festival was held October 4-5, 2014 with 36,826 in attendance at Champions Park near downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The festival celebrated Louisville’s culture and cuisine, with a selection of rock music, bourbon, whiskey, craft beer and “gourmet man food” curated personally by Danny Wimmer.

The inaugural festival featured performances from more than 30 of the biggest bands in hard rock and metal–including Kid Rock, Judas Priest, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Limp Bizkit, Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington, Volbeat, Papa Roach and more–playing on three stages, plus celebrity chef appearances by Chris Santos, Bill Kunz, and Tom Coghill on the Jägermeister Cooking Stage. More than 70 food and beverage vendors were on hand to help celebrate the bourbon culture and culinary heritage of this unique American city.

Kid Rock Streaming “First Kiss” Music Video

Kid Rock is streaming the video for “First Kiss” here, off his Top Dog/Warner Bros Records album of the same name, out February 24, 2015.

On New Years Day fans were asked to post their New Years first kiss photos using #KidRockFirstKiss. A selection of these photos were used to create a teaser video with a clip of the song “First Kiss.” The fan who posted our favorite photo was sent the official music video for “First Kiss” to debut on their personal Twitter account this morning. That fan was Cissy Bishop, or @_cissymae, and she premiered the video this morning.

Kid Rock Performing Daytona 500 Pre Race Show, New Album Out February 22

Kid Rock will perform at the Daytona 500 Budweiser Pre-Race Show on Sunday, February 22, 2015 (1 pm FOX, FOX Deportes, MRN Radio and SiriusXM Radio). Amongst performing several of his hits, he will be playing his brand new single “First Kiss” on pit road of the “World Center of racing” prior to the Daytona 500. The song is off his new album of the same name, out on February 24, 2015.

Kid Rock joins a long list of past performers of the DAYTONA 500 Budweiser Pre-Race Show including Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, Lenny Kravitz, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Bon Jovi.

New Kid Rock “First Kiss” Due February 2015

Kid Rock’s new album First Kiss will be out on February 24, 2015 via Warner Bros. The record was self produced (with the exception of two songs were produced by Dann Huff) at his studio in Michigan. Touring plans and the first single from the forthcoming album will be announced soon.
