Rejoicing still in the simple fact we can have a physical Roadburn again, the final two days definitely wore on our pandemic shocked psyche and physique. Stumbling more and wearing down in a way I’m not used to, I mentioned to some friends during the weekend the Pandemic has made us all old, and 5 days on our feet now feel a lot longer. Saturday started with the feeling it felt like a Sunday, traditionally called the afterburner, because by that time you are fairly burnt out.

After three years of waiting and longing, finally there will be an in person Roadburn Festival again. While the 2021 online edition Roadburn Redux, was in itself, innovative and the best digital festival I’ve seen set up during the dark days of the pandemic, nothing beats being physically shaken by bass heavy music and hugging friends from all over the world you only see once a year.

Roadburn 2022 Adds Lingua Ignota, Emma Ruth Rundle, 40 Watt Sun, Mizmor and More!


Roadburn 2022 has announced a massive wave of essential artists added to the line-up! Lingua Ignota, Emma Ruth Rundle, 40 Watt Sun, Mizmor and many more now join the festival! These bands join the previously announced acts Ulver, Sólstafir, Alcest, Backxwash, Russian Circles, artist in residence – Full of Hell and many others. Roadburn Festival will take place between April 21-24 in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Tickets for Roadburn 2022 are on sale now. Friday and Saturday day tickets are sold out. Greg Puciato of The Black Queen To Release Book, Tour Upcoming


Just yesterday we marked the one year anniversary of the end of The Dillinger Escape Plan, in the year since Greg Puciato has kept busy with his band The Black Queen. Their excellent new album Infinite Games is out now via Federal Prisoner, a label and art collective and extension of the band. The label will release Greg’s new book Separate The Dawn. In early 2019. Separate The Dawn is “220 pages of poetry, photography, and manipulated photography culled from a much larger collection of journal entries, free writing, and photos that mostly manifested from September 2016 to December 2017. 5.5″x 8.5″. Hardcover. Edition of 1000. First press. There will not be a softcover. Digital/e-book release will be at a later date. The Black Queen Books US Tour For 2019, Shares New Video For “Thrown Into The Dark”


Supergroup The Black Queen featuring members of The Dillinger Escape Plan and Telefon Tel Aviv have booked a full US tour in support of their recent album Infinite Games. Uniform opens on all North American dates except those marked by an asterisk. Kanga opens Feb. 22 to March 9, SRSQ opens March 11 to March 28. Tickets are on sale tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 16. The Black Queen is made up of Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan), Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv/Puscifer) and Steven Alexander Ryan (Nine Inch Nails/A Perfect Circle tech).To celebrate the tour the band has also released a new video for ‘Thrown Into The Dark’, which you watch right now.

“Our energy is so high right now following our recent run of European shows, and we’re grateful and excited to keep it going and to finally, after a few years of only playing Stateside shows here and there, be able to come play everywhere we can in North America.
