After The Burial Announce Tour With The Faceless

In a post to Facebook After The Burial announced their long rumored tour, opening up for The Faceless. Joining them on the tour will be Rings Of Saturn and Toothgrinder.

As you know, we canceled our appearance on the Summer Slaughter tour to spend time with friends and family in an effort to rebuild after the loss of our brother.

Everybody deals with tragedy in their own way, and at their own pace. Each way is unique to that person, but the common goal that all people share is to get back to living a normal life. A normal life to us is being on the road, meeting our fans, and sharing our music with the world.

We’re excited to announce this upcoming tour with The Faceless. It represents a huge step forward emotionally for us in the band. We still have the drive and motivation to deliver music to you guys, and we want you all to be able to look to us for strength.

We wouldn’t be here without your support, and we want to give it back to you. We love you all, and we’ll see you on the road.

After the Burial dropped off the 2015 Summer Slaughter tour after the disappearance and later death of their guitar player Justin Lowe. The band recently announced charity merch remembering Lowe and donating to some worthy causes:

After The Burial Pulls Out Of Summer Slaughter Following The Death Of Justin Lowe

In the wake of the death of former guitarist Justin Lowe last week, After the Burial has announced they are pulling out of their spot on this years Summer Slaughter Tour. The band ha released a statement and changed their social media channels to pay tribute to Lowe as well.

 

“In the wake of our loss, it comes with heavy hearts to inform everyone that we have decided not to perform on this years Summer Slaughter tour. The recent events have been unimaginably heartbreaking, and Justin’s passing is something that each of us needs time with our families and friends to recover from.

Justin Lowe’s story may have a sad ending, but the legacy he leaves us is one that should do nothing but inspire.

From the bottom of our hearts, we’d like to thank everyone who has reached out in support and with kind words for him, his family, and us. It has been truly amazing to see all the people whose live’s he impacted in a positive way.”

Former After The Burial Guitarist Justin Lowe Passes Away

Justin Lowe, the former guitarist of After the Burial was found dead last night, near somerset, WI. On July 18th Lowe was reported missing in Washington County, MN. It had been a tumultuous few months for him, since he left After the Burial following a disturbing public statement and an internet tirade. The band had followed up with their own statement reporting that Lowe was under physicians care for mental illness and receiving treatments.

We send our condolences to Lowe’s family and friends and the After The Burial camp as well.
