Foo Fighters Announce First Wave of Special Guests for The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert in Los Angeles

The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will benefit charities in both the UK and the US and was chosen by the Hawkins family. Beneficiaries and further details will be announced shortly. Performing alongside The Foo Fighters, the first guest artists for Los Angeles announced are Chris Chaney, Stewart Copeland, Miley Cyrus, Omar Hakim, Joshua Homme, Joan Jett, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Brian May, Mark Ronson, Alanis Morissette, Gene Simmons, Nikki Sixx, Chad Smith, Luke Spiller, Roger Taylor, Rufus Taylor, Jon Theodore, Wolfgang Van Halen, Brad Wilk, Pat Wilson, and a special appearance by Chevy Metal. More artists and guests will be announced. The Los Angeles concert takes place on Tuesday, Sept 27th, 2022 at The Kia Forum. You can sign up for a pre-sale code at the Foo Fighters website.The LA public on sale will begin Friday, 16th of June at 9am local time. Video: Puscifer Announce New Album, Grand Canyon Single

Puscifer, the band led by Maynard James Keenan of A Perfect Circle and Tool has announced an new album today, dubbed Money Shot. The album will release on October 30th. You can hear the new Puscifer track in the form for the music video for the song ‘Grand Canyon’ at this link or below:

The video is directed by Adam Rothlin, and stars Keenan and Carina Round. Kennan who has described Puscifer in the past as an outlet for his “creative unconscious” commented on the creation of the Money Shot album:

 

“It’s extremely satisfying to witness simple conversations and ideas transform into completed sonic landscapes..: And to have these stories go above and beyond the initial ideas makes my grumpy heart swell three sizes.”

Puscifer’s line-up was originally intended to be formless, with musicians coming in when Keenan needed, but currently features Round, Mat Mitchell, Juliette Commagere, Devo Keenan (Maynard’s son), Tim Alexander, Jon Theodore, Jeff Friedl and Matt McJunkins among their ranks.
